Terms & Conditions


By participating in an activity with Aspire Dance you agree to the following conditions. These conditions are agreed to electronically through sign up on the ‘class for kids’ platform.

Whilst attending classes at Aspire Dance you child will be under the care of Miss Annabel. 

Participants will not be supervised in the toilets or once their class has finished. 

Participants of pre school age are supervised by a parent/guardian who will stay at class with them. 

Children will not be allowed to leave with anyone other than who has been stated on their sign up information. 

Health and Safety

Although where possible everything is done to ensure correct health and safety occasional minor accidents occur.

You agree to disclose any health or medical conditions for your child during registration and inform the teacher of any changes. 

Participants must refrain from attending class if they have had any form of illness within 48 hours.

Aspire Dance is not responsible for transmissions of Covid-19 or any such infectious diseases or illnesses. Participants should adhere to current government guidelines with regards to Covid-19 and any such infectious diseases or welfare issues.

Outdoor classes pose a higher risk to the participant due to natural occurrences such as variable weather and uneven ground surface. Participation is at your own risk and participants are expected to be cautious whilst taking part, they should always check the area around them before moving. 

Virtual Classes can differ in risk too in person classes therefore you should sign the separate terms and conditions document entitled ‘Virtual Learning Terms and Conditions’ in order to participate in any type of virtual learning with Aspire Dance.  

Should a notable accident occur a report form will be kept in a locked filing cupboard for a maximum of 3 years and then shredded. 

Individual risk assessments are available to view upon request. 

Booking and Payment

Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received. Paid for spaces will be given priority. 

Minimum booking is for one term. This is calculated to include one week free which can be used as a holiday, illness or simply a class for free. Invoices must be paid within the first 2 weeks of term in order to receive this benefit.

All payments are final. We do not issue refunds for missed sessions due to your own circumstances. If there are any paid sessions cancelled by Aspire Dance we will consider this your free week. If this happens again in the same term we will endeavour to offer a make-up session. 

Payments will be returned if an activity has to be cancelled by Aspire Dance due to minimum numbers not being achieved.

In circumstances where we can offer refunds an administration fee will be applied.

Anybody found to be abusing discount codes will have their invoice amended to be the correct amount plus an administration fee. 

We are not responsible for any platform fees added to your payment through the use of online systems.  

Safeguarding

There may be physical contact between participants and the teacher eg hand holding, posture correction or spotting for Acro activities which are necessary for safety. 

You must declare during registration if you do not want your child to be photographed for marketing use, and keep us up-to-date should this change.

Privacy

All details given will be kept private and only used in connection with Aspire Dance activities, any paperwork will be in a locked cupboard and shredded after 3 years.

Loss or Damage

Aspire Dance is not responsible for loss or damage of any personal items.

Behaviour 

Should a notable incident occur a report form will be kept in a locked filing cupboard for a maximum of 3 years and then shredded. 

Aspire Dance does not tolerate bullying in any way- this involves the persistent physical or verbal abuse of another child, children or member of staff. 

-We intervene to stop harm

-We explain to the individual doing the bullying why their actions are inappropriate 

-We help the individual who has done the bullying to say sorry for their actions

-We do not label individuals who bully

-We discuss what has happened with their parent/guardian and work out a plan for moving forwards with positive behaviour 

-When an individual has been bullied we share what has happened with their parent/guardian explaining the individual who did the bullying is being helped to adopt more acceptable ways

We believe that participants will enjoy being in an environment in which they know what is expected of them where they can develop without fear of harm. 

Aspire Dance reserves the right to remove from our programme, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying disruptive or disrespectful behaviour. This decision is at the principals discretion.
